Haukur Valdimar is an Icelandic filmmaker, writer, visual artist, actor, dancer and stage author.
He is based in Reykjavík and graduated from Theatre and Performance Making at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2016, from the Icelandic Film School in 2006 and from the art department of Fjölbrautaskólinn Breiðholti in 2003.
Haukur has worked in most departments of filmmaking and television, sometimes leading him to strange places such as Central Africa, Tahrir Square in the Arab Spring of 2011, and the Icelandic Love Boat. He is currently a professional go-go dancer in Icelandic disco-funk supergroup "Boogie Trouble" as well as running his film company, Palssons Productions, and working odd jobs for other producers.
